Persimmon Ridge is located in western Shelby County, 25 minutes from Louisville International Airport, downtown Louisville and downtown Shelbyville. The natural lay of the land allowed golf course architect Arthur Hills to create a masterpiece of golf course design, which won the prestigious Golf Digest 2007 Outstanding Design award. The 18-hole championship lay-out takes you through woods, over creeks, around lakes and through a 120 foot elevation change during your round. Persimmon Ridge is ranked one of the most challenging golf courses in the region.

Our residential development, with a tag line of "Make the Natural Choice", offers the best of a rural environment and city living, featuring large home sites, open green space, underground utilities, junior Olympic-sized swimming pool, playground, tennis courts and fishing lakes. Homeowners and guests alike realize the difference in the community as soon as they enter the development.
