The reception room (The Great Room) is located on the top floor of the clubhouse at Persimmon Ridge Golf Club. It is a spacious 5000 square foot facility that includes a kitchen, restrooms, bar, dance floor and fireplace. The room has seating for approximately 250 people, but can accommodate up to 325 with additional tables and chairs.
Wedding Ceremonies at Persimmon Ridge Golf Course
Wedding ceremonies may take place in the Great Room at Persimmon Ridge Golf Club or in the garden area of the circle drive in front of the clubhouse (weather permitting).
Deposit – Room Rental Fee & Cancellation Policy
The Club is closed in observance of Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Day. The reception room is not available during these days. All other dates are available on a first come, first served basis. A deposit equal to ½ of the room rental fee payable to Persimmon Ridge Golf Club is required to reserve a date on our calendar for your event and the balance is due 180 days prior to the event. Onsite weddings require a deposit equal to ½ of the room rental and ½ of the ceremony fee to reserve a date on our calendar for your event and the balance is due 180 days prior to the event.
The room rental fee is $1500.00 for four hours' usage not to exceed 1:00am (music must stop at 12 midnight). For room rental rates, availability and minimums call the Coordinator at 502-241-4004. Additional time over the four hours is $75 per half hour increments. If a reservation is cancelled less than 180 days prior to your scheduled event, the entire deposit is forfeited.
Persimmon Ridge Catering
The Club has an exclusive catering arrangement with The Catering Company. Full service catering from plated dinners and hors d'oeuvres to buffet meals and sandwiches are available. Please contact our event coordinator for details and scheduling of an appointment with the Catering coordinator. The following information must be provided a minimum of two weeks prior to your scheduled event.
1. A final guarantee of the number of guests. This number will be used for purchasing, scheduling, preparation, etc. Thereafter the number may be increased, but not decreased.
2. Your choice of menu selections, quantity, and the time you wish the food to be made available.
3. Payment in full for the confirmed number of guests.
Please note all prices on catering are subject to change due to availability and market pricing.
Persimmon Ridge offers full service bar facilities. Please note that it is illegal to bring alcoholic beverages onto the licensed premise. As with the catering department, a final guarantee of the number of guests, liquor selection, time you wish to begin serving, and applicable charges, must be provided two weeks in advance of your event. There is a fee of $125 per bartender for four hours of service. In the event that a certain brand or type of alcohol is requested that we do not stock, a deposit will be required two weeks before the function to cover the order.
Decorating may begin at 8:00am the day of your event with a 4 hour limit. If the room is not being utilized the day prior to your scheduled event, decorating may be done that day. There will be a 4 hour limit not to exceed 5:00pm. Contact the Event Coordinator at our facility two weeks prior to your event. You may use your own decorations or ask about the club's decorations for rent. Personal decorations must be removed after the completion of your event. Please note that we do not allow any type of confetti, rice or birdseed on the premises. Use of these items will result in the loss of your deposit.
Additional Services Available
Fireplace – There is a $20 fee for fireplace usage. We provide Dura flame logs to ensure safety, cleanliness and to prohibit smoke damage. Fireplace usage requires a one week notice.
Tables - The tables presently in the Great Room allow for approximately 250 guests. We have additional eight foot tables and white chairs that can be rented at reasonable rates. Please check with the Event Coordinator for pricing if your need for seating exceeds 250.
Linens – White tablecloths and white or black napkins are included in the room rental price for the tables we have on site, however if you need additional tables or prefer a colored linen or napkin, additional charges will be incurred. Please contact the Event Coordinator for applicable prices. Two weeks advance notice must be given on linens.
Contractors – Any person or company providing service for your scheduled event, i.e. wedding cake, floral arrangements, entertainment, photographer, etc. must be submitted to the Club's Event Coordinator for approval. We must have the company name, contact person's address, phone number and their arrival and departure times in writing.
